The first national information day for the dissemination and transfer of the 3DPRISM project results was held in Italy, on 11th of September 2017.

The project is led by the UK’s University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre Training Centre (AMRC) with consortium members from Belgium (CECIMO), Spain (FLORIDA), Greece (EXELIA) and Italy (CIMEA). It is scheduled for completion in February 2018.

Additive Manufacturing (AM) offers many benefits over traditional manufacturing techniques in the concept and prototyping of designs. AM technology allows the generation of complex geometries and lattice structures to make lighter and more efficient components.

¿Qué es 3DPRISM?

El proyecto 3DPRISM tiene los objetivos siguientes:

- Apoyar la formación profesional para el desarrollo de habilidades necesarias en el ámbito de la impresión 3D, mediante guías, recursos educativos abiertos y metodologías de formación específicas.

- Identificar nuevos perfiles en el sector de la fabricación aditiva, para facilitar y agilizar la integración de nuevas habilidades y cualificaciones en la Formación Profesional.

- Ayudar a aplicar las políticas de la UE para la cualificación, la transparencia, la movilidad y el renacer de la industria europea a través de puestos de trabajos seguros y sostenibles.

¿Quien participa en el proyecto?

El proyecto está liderado por AMRC- University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, en colaboración con Florida Universitària, CECIMO, Exelia y CIMEA.
